 The irrational Engineers had an awesome time at the Autoshow Sneak Peek last night. We ate and ate and ate and then enjoyed strolling around the incredibly beautiful and expensive cars. It was so much fun, and well deserved after working our Robotics booth for two days. Our favorite display had to have been the Kia Video Booth where we laughed so hard... though I think the students enjoyed the Pokemon car almost as much. I have to say that we clean up well!
The Irrational Engineers went to the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Conference at the Washington Convention Center to share our love for STEM/STEAM. We made a lot of great contacts with Engineers from many automotive companies and get some solid leads for potential sponsors. It was a long day but well worth it.  We are blessed to have several FIRST Alumni mentors on our team - it is such an encouragement to have these young people come and work alongside our students, showing them how to accomplish their goals.
The Irrational Engineers are teaming up with Parkdale HS Team 4949 The Robopanthers to put up an awesome robotics booth at the upcoming SAE Conference and Washington AutoShow on January 25,26 and 27, 2016. We have been insanely busy prepping our students, bots and materials to show the engineers, VIPs and the public all about our love for robotics!   The business team is crazy-busy working on making 2000 buttons for give-aways at our various events and tournaments. We have just completed our new 2017 logo and spent the day using the heat press to transfer the logos to 50 t-shirts. Lots of work but the results are amazing.
