WE ARE A PART OF FIRST
The Irrational Engineers is a part of FIRST ( For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology ) which was founded in 1991 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. Based in Manchester, NH, the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.

Our robotics team is made up of students from many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and communities. Our 2015-2016 team was comprised of 50% African American, 32% Caucasian, 14% Hispanic, and 4% Asian students. One third of our students are female and 100% of our students are homeschooled.
Our Robotics team is actively seeking sponsors for the 2016-2017 and subsequent seasons. We are interested in support in terms of tools, materials and money gifts to help us build our robot. All of our sponsors are listed on our website, and major sponsors are printed on our Team Banner and Robot.
